What does Chapter Three Ministries believe?
We believe that there is one God who exists as the Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Through the Holy Trinity, we believe that our Creator offers himself as a Father to our orphan, as a brother to our stranger through Jesus Christ our Savior and as a Lover of our souls through the Holy Spirit.
We believe in Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. We accept the witness of the New Testament to His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atonement for our sins through his death and resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory as true.
We believe in the Holy Spirit as essential for the salvation of the lost and sinful people we are. We believe that the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is what enables Christians to live an obedient life.
We believe that the Bible is the Divinely inspired, truthful and authoritative written Word of God.
We believe in the unity of all believers in Christ and that the Church is God's institution. We believe that the local church should operate as a unified community of servants with men and women stewarding their spiritual gifts and resources. We believe that all people matter to God, and therefore, should matter to the church.
We believe that sanctification is the life-long process and responsibility of each Christian to call on the power of the Holy Spirit and utilize spiritual disciplines to become the person that God calls them to be for all eternity.
We believe that excellence honors God and inspires people.
While the above statements might not cover everything in which we believe, we feel that they truthfully represent our ministry and how we feel called to serve and live. We hope that any additional thoughts or beliefs not explicitly represented above would be implicitly related to the above statements.
